Yasemin:Let’s begin with some quick introductions. My name is Yasemin, I’m Turkish, and I’m from Türkiye. The capital is Ankara, but İstanbul is the most popular destination for visitors. Sultanahmet Square and Dolmabahçe Palace are famous tourist spots. Carlos, your turn!
Carlos:That sounds amazing! I’m Carlos from Thailand. Bangkok, the capital, is huge and lively. Visitors can explore the Grand Palace.
Alikhan:Nice to meet you all! I’m Alikhan from Kazakhstan. The capital is Astana, but tourists can visit Almaty to see the mountains and beautiful landscapes. I speak Kazakh and English.
Yasemin:Thanks, everyone. It’s so interesting to hear about your countries, and each place sounds amazing! Maybe we can talk about our daily routines next. Would anyone like to go first?
Alikhan:Let me start! I’m quite organised. I plan my study routine carefully and try to learn new vocabulary every day. I practise English online and I never leave my tasks unfinished. I believe "Work hard now, play later" is the best way to live.
Yasemin:I usually wake up early, take the bus to school, and attend classes. After school, I watch films to relax or study when I have many tasks.
Carlos:I usually get home in the afternoons. Sometimes I do chores or errands. In the evenings, I watch documentaries or practise English. At weekends, I go shopping or meet friends.
Yasemin:It’s nice hearing about how everyone spends their day. How about talking about our personalities now? People say I’m cheerful and outgoing but sometimes I can be a little forgetful. Carlos, would you like to go next?
